An instant success when it opened inside the Deli, Halseys Tearoom is warm, cosy & intimate. And, when the weather is kind, you'll also find tables outside with views of the Market Square and Churchyard.

From breakfast (with both egg & soldiers and the Halsey's favourite - Cheesy bubble and squeak with ham and a fried egg available) to late afternoon, the very best of Halseys is on offer.

The fab new Sunday Brunch menu is a real hit with classics like omlette Arnold Bennet, eggs benedict, Craster kippers with scrambled and the incredible 3 stack New York pancakes with either bacon and maple syrup or for the sweeter tooth, blueberry pancakes with ice cream. The only thing that could possibly improve on that is the addition of a glass of bucks fizz or a bloody mary. Sunday brunch.....Done!

As you'd expect, all our Tearoom fayre is homemade and locally sourced, wherever possible. On the menu are freshly made soups, mouth watering light lunches, hot roast meat rolls, the best quality hams, cheeses and chutneys, delicious handmade cakes - plus an incredible range of teas, coffees and soft drinks. And there's always a daily 'Specials' board .. as if menu envy hadn't already set in!
